Open Memory & documents for what Nexus keeps about you and the files it can use.

What the AI knows about you​

Memory is durable personal context — preferences, facts you stated, notes from verified conversations.

  • Browse items with source, status, and confidence.
  • Edit, accept, reject, or permanently delete an entry.
  • Choose whether Nexus learns automatically, asks first, or does not learn.
  • Only verified channels (your web session, a linked Telegram after /start, signed webhooks) can read or write memory. Unverified external senders cannot.

Say “remember that…” in Home when you want something kept. Delete anything you no longer want retained.

Your documents​

When file storage is enabled, Your documents holds files Nexus produced or you uploaded — images, PDFs, and other generated files — with retention you control.

Document library​

Organization admins can open the Document library to upload files Nexus should search (PDF, DOCX, spreadsheets, TXT). Everyday questions on Home use those files when they are relevant.

Creating embedding providers, chunk settings, and project-scoped knowledge bases is Advanced mode. See Knowledge bases.

Tips​

  • Review memory after you connect a new channel.
  • Prefer one clear fact over long pasted transcripts.
  • Treat documents you upload as business context — do not store secrets you would not put in email.
